You also need to get out of the online box and go out there just to know how things are faring. Are people interested in what you are doing? Can you do something apart from the virtual? Just to make it more practical.

Any money making business needs clients. So you need to know who your clients are and where you can find them. Today there are Gig sites like freelancer and fiverr. They will help you reach for employers who are looking for your skills and services.
If you are relying on your own site and ways then research is really important before you launch a product.
Sometimes luck/blessings happen.
It does not always happen the same way to everyone. Your friend might have made $1000 out of an MLM but that should not guarantee you the same. Infact you might end up loosing more millions.
