It’s a good feeling when you have an app you can rely on anytime you want to do something using your phone. Some of the apps I will mention here can be apps you already have installed in your phone but may not be fully aware of their awesome features.
a) Desygner
Desygner is a graphic design app like canva. Though canva is quite popullar, if asked to chose I would choose desygner without a second thought. With desygner you can create logos, business cards, bronchures and almost all kinds of graphics with unique and ready made templates. You can also create them from scratch if you want. Basically, desyner is a free app you can download from google play store but also has a paid version.
Another thing you can be sure to love about the app is its UI and its mobile responsiveness. So far its the only graphics design app I know you can easily design using mobile like you would do using a desktop. In a few words, the app is perfect but you will need data to use the app as its an online one.
b) Jot forms
What kind of forms would you like to create? Order forms, poll/surveys, contact forms the list is endless. Jot forms comes with a drag and drop interface and a very freindly one too. The app enables you to add popullar payment methods like paypall to your forms so you can collect payments. It also supports other integrations useful to any kind of business. The forms you create can be easily embeded to a website or shared to social networks. For wordpress users, jot forms has a plugin they can install with just a click.
c) Eset
Tech gave us convenience but took our privacy. In the digital world we are living in, Mobile security and privacy apps are the closest police we have. Well, eset is one of them and an affordable one too. It comes with a free version and a premium one. The free version gives you an antivirus scanner while the premium version gives you antitheft, antiphisingn and app lock at only ksh 1999 / yr. Eset goes ahead to protect your payment details. It secures mobile payment apps i.e those associated with banks and money transfers.
d) Drive
If you are not much of an office person, you might not like drive but to someone who is fond of creating documents, drive is the kind of app they need. It has a good interface and will help you backup files online.
Though drive is a good app, it is one of those you will find sitting idly in most peoples phones. Some may never use it.
One reason could be the lack of need like I mentioned but also drive Is the kind of app that demands a very strong internet connection to function properly. For light pdf or word documents its easy but when it comes to large images and videos, it can take forever to upload.
e) Chrome
Chrome is a browser just like Opera but what makes it great is its ability to centralize data. As a business person, you are likely to create many accounts as you sign up with certain service providers. Chrome generates passwords and saves them for you. By making it your default browser, you can save passwords for every account you create and access them on any device using your gmail.
