Every now and then, bloggers are trying to come up with tricks that will improve their SEO. One of those is guest blogging and back linking but some end up loosing it all. One, because they are back linking to poorly written blogs. Two, because google understands all these tricks and keeps updating its crawlers.

One thing that i have learned from experience is that you should not expect Google to help you improve your SEO. Instead, you should help google do what it does best, that is helping viewers get the most relevant and quality content in the internet.

So, the next time you think of creating a blog post, maybe you should not write on, ” how to host your website online” because many websites have covered that topic. Instead, you should write on ” websites with the best hosting advice” or maybe, “The best web hosting providers”

You see, you are not creating any new content here, because you don’t even need to, Why? Old and high ranking websites always have the right content presented in the best way possible. So, why battle these giants while you can benefit by appraising them?

Use more external links

So the idea is not to guest blog on big blogs then back link to small ones but to blog on small ones then link to big ones. This is a reliable tip for young blogs and bloggers.

If you look at high ranking sites like Wp Beginner, you will notice a lot of external links. Sometimes up to 10 in a single article. All linking to great products and reliable online service providers in the web.

This is why i would advice anyone planning of creating a niche website to start a Review site. All he/she needs to do is to make sure he reviews great products. Once that everyone is searching for in the web.

So, if you are still stuck with poor SEO, start using bigger blogs as stepping stones not competitors. Also, its best if you have Google as a partner. Believe me, you can’t have them as your enemy. Google penalizes blogs that backlinks to bad blogs.
